AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): Mass displeasure has erupted among the aspirants of Tripura Forest Service which is conducted by Tripura Public Service Commission. On 5th June, 2020 the Commission uploaded a notification in their official site about Tripura Forest Service exam, Grade-II. In this regard, they also uploaded the syllabus in the official website which is basically a memo No.F.2(1)-GA(P&T)/98(L) dated 31/12/2019 issued by GA(P&T) issued by Senior TCS officer Md.Habibur Rahman.

Whereas UPSC keeps total 14 optional papers, Tripura has 13.Out of 13 optional papers some important optional subjects like Geology, Environmental Science, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science etc has been excluded by TPSC.

However, the other State Public Service commissions including Assam, West Bengal, Tamilnadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand  etc kept more than 15 Optional Papers where there aforesaid subjects are also included as optional. It is unfortunate for the aspirants who come from the background of Geology, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science of this State.

The aspirants showed their resentment and asked the commission why these subjects can not be included as the Commission has it's right of including a subject under it's autonomous power. However, no reply from TPSC has been received on this matter so far.
