AGARTALA, Sep 21 (TIWN): From death of 3 days old baby in GB hospital, Bina Pani Roy's death with wrong diagnosis, dead-body missing report, Bhagat Singh COVID-Care centre's mismanagement which led a pregnant woman to voice from the COVID-centre, not a single news was wrongfully reported in any newspaper but Tripura Chief Minister now started his bizarre claims against media reports as fake behind increasing numbers of deaths and COVID-cases, but fact is that Central team was dispatched by Union Health Ministry given report against massive irregularities by Health Dept under Biplab Deb. Sources said, due to such reasons today BJP High Command summoned Biplab Deb to Delhi over massive Mismanagement on COVID and Biplab Deb has left Delhi.

Today in the Assembly, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has said that patients are coming in the last moment led them to die but is not it a failure of the Govt and Health Dept for not caring about the patients in isolation ? Why the patients would come in the last moment if the Dept has minimum communication with the patient party ? It means, in the name of Home Isolation, Tripura Govt is just washing its hands from any Health Services.

Also, Tripura Govt did not go for proper testing of the arriving people led the community spread of COVID-cases, which the Govt can't ignore. Indeed, that was the biggest mistake of the State Govt by 5:1 testing process.

It can be mentioned here that in view of the worsening Covid-19 situation in Tripura, a two-member Central experts' team had arrived in the northeastern state on a 10-day visit to take stock of the situation and suggest measures to curb the spread of the virus, officials said on Wednesday.

A senior official of the Health and Family Welfare Department said that two experts, Daisy Panna, Consultant Epidemiologist, National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), and P.K. Verma, Assistant Professor, Respiratory Medicine, Lady Hardinge Memorial College (LHMC), will visit the state for 10 days.

The report will be placed before the High Court also.

Tripura High Court has sought further clarification on COVID-19 Management on Sep 28 (next hearing date) and has asked Tripura Govt to develop the communication between Patient Parties and Hospital Management in the interest of increasing trust of patients in the Health Services. It has also directed the State Govt to fix COVID treatment's highest charge which can been taken maximum at ILS Hospital, which is a private hospital.

"There is a dedicated mobile number in COVID-centre, GB. Today, High Court has asked the Govt to create a special inquiry cell, instead of a single mobile number, which will ease the communication further between patient parties and the hospital. The cell should be made at the AGMC centre. High Court has asked about the total numbers of testing, positive cases, recovery rates. High Court also said, patients complaints and suggestions should be taken and on next 28th September, the next hearing will be pronounced. Central medical team's reports also have been asked by the court", said Senior Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman.
