AGARTALA, Sep 17 (TIWN): Netizens have hit BJP Govt's celebration of PM Modi's birthday when PM himself has failed to function the 'double-engine' in Tripura to fulfill pre-poll promises to the unemployed youths in Tripura. BJP in Tripura has come in power with various fabricated promises and among them 50000 Govt job promises was the most attractive which said, there are 50000 vacant posts in various Govt depts and once BJP comes in power, it will fulfill all the vacant posts there by 1-Year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 70th birthday on Thursday and receiving greetings also. While many on Twitter are appreciating the PM for his initiatives for the nation, a larger section of Twitterati and Facebook users have marked September 17 as National Unemployment Day or or ‘Rashtriya Berojgar Divas’.Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) as per its monthly surveys on unemployment has said that Tripura is the second topper in unemployment rate in the whole Northeast region, whereas in the whole country it’s in second position.
As per CMIE’s monthly data, Tripura has recorded 27.9% unemployment rate, which is the second highest in whole country after Haryana which is at 33.5%.
Tripura is holding highest unemployed youths among all Northeast states. After Haryana and Tripura, it’s Rajasthan which is holding the 3rd position in unemployment rate at 17.5%.
However, on the completion of 2 and Half years of BJP in Tripura, Chief Minister Biplab Deb on September 9 during his Dhalai visit hyped that under his Govt, unemployed youths’ major part have become job creators and they are no more afraid of be self-dependent. He also has said that his Govt has worked more than what is written in Vision Document.
