PALATANA / UDAIPUR, November 28 (TIWN): To review the last minute preparations of the PM Modi's visit to the state Power Minister Manik Dey, Director General of Police( In charge) K Nagraj, Inspector General( Law & Order) Anurag Dhyankar visited the OTPC plant this afternoon. SP(Enforcement Branch) Jitendra Debbarma,Assistant Commandant of TSR BN 1 Pinaki Samanta , S P Gomati Sankar Debnath, Adsl S P Tapan Debbarma, DSP DIB Debasish Debbarma , SDPO Ratan Kumar Das and other police officials were also accompanied them. At around 1pm the Power Minister and high level police officials arrived at Palatana to review the last minute preparations leading to the Prime Minister's visit on December 1.

Arriving at Palatana the Minister and other police officials went to the the place of inaugural programme. They reviewed the last minutes preparations . The stage for PM Modi's public rally has been handed over to the Special Protection Group(SPG)  security officials. Now the temporary tent being constructed for the public rally is in its finishing line. It is learnt that by Saturday morning the SPG will take guard of the total plant site. This year the inaugural programme will be held towards the northern side of the Security Building. The western portion of the boundary wall of the OTPC plant area has been demolished for the entry of the 50000 people likely to gather in PM Modi's public rally. The entire plant area has been illuminated with lights and the thousands of workers have given the plant a new look. 

       Meanwhile Power Minister Manik Dey, DGP(IC) K Nagraj, IG(L&O) Anurag Dhyankar and other police official held meeting with SPG AIG Manish Sharma and OTPC MD S K Dubey and other SPG Security officials inside the plant area. A highly placed sources informed TIWN that SPG AIG expressed satisfaction over the preparations. And indeed, OTPC is now waiting to welcome the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1st December. 

Before coming to Palatana the Power Minister, DGP and IG held meeting with the police, District Administration and other departments. The one hour long meeting started at 11.30am.
