AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): As per CMIE’s monthly data, Tripura has recorded 27.9% unemployment rate, which is the second highest in whole country after Haryana which is at 33.5%. Tripura is holding highest unemployed youths among all Northeast states but the Chief Minister of the state Biplab Deb has offered loans for the unemployed youths to open shops or new business. While addressing in a programme conducted at Sabroom, South Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has claimed that by giving subsidies loans to the unemployed youths, Tripura Govt is playing the role of a father. “It is often seen that a father with all his savings, pensions tries to make his son settled in life and they invest for their son. Tripura Govt is also giving subsidies loans through banks, playing role as a father”, claimed CM comparing family’s investment with subsidies loans.

In such a move, although BJP Govt gave scholarship to B.Ed students to go other states but after 1-year Govt allegedly has stopped scholarship which erupted protests recently.

With such immature decisions, at the end BJP’s Vision Document which promised about 50,000 Govt jobs in 1-Year along with house to house employments has turned the biggest Political JUMLA in Tripura’s history.
