AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): In shocking note, it has been exposed by BJP MLA Asish Saha that the much hyped multi-storey residential buildings in Agartala city for which booking have been already being made but might result in deep frustration for the customers as gross violation of construction rules are existing yet.

Moreover the construction which will be completed in 2023, March will be handedover to Tripura Urban Planning Development Act-2018 (TUDA) after 6 months of construction, which has raised further questions. In a letter to CM Biplab Deb, BJP MLA Asish Saha has written that under Tripura Urban Development Act-2018 in 3 places these multi-storey building will be constructed but there are gross violations as the process has not been registered under RERA that is (The Real Estate Regulation and Development) Act 2016. The TUDA is still unregistered under RERA but the customers were promised that it’s registered.

Asish Saha also said, although the word “ALLOTTE” was used under RERA in the advertisement but nowhere it was registered under RERA.

“Without registration number of RERA, giving advertisement is totally illegal and thus booking should be returned”, MLA Asish Shah told CM Biplab Deb via his letter.

He also said, such irregularities will put the Govt in legal problems in future. Also, Govt did not take any permission from the AMC.

He also criticized his own party's Govt for making flats in the business heart of the city. Saha raised question, if the booking starts from 30^th Sept 2020 and completes in 30 months by March, 2023, then why the flat will be handed from TUDA after 6 months of construction, that is in September 2023 ?
