When the MLA visited the place on Saturday, the tea-garden workers along with other local people gathered in a huge number and showed massive resentment against it. The situation hit up when the argument started becoming fight between the MLA and the huge gathered public. However, the MLA somehow saved himself from public attack and left the place.

The local public alleged that they will not give their land to any illegal snatchers. They will go for bigger protest in upcoming days if such incident happens again. However, the MLA did not show up with any statement regarding this incident so far.
