AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Tripura BJP’s once of the most controversial figures, who is known for his mafia-styling and violent activities, MLA Ramprasad Pal known as 'Baahubali' escaped anyhow from mass-agitation spot with help of security guards. It has been seen in a viral video in social media today. This incident happened after he allegedly went to illegally own Mekhlibondho Tea Garden. In the viral video it was heard that the MLA is saying, “I will take legal actions against all of youâ€. Angry workers replied to him, “Take take, we are not afraid……..†After few chaos, slogan raised, “We don’t need any owner………â€. The situation was going out of control. Police guarded the MLA and controlled the masses and soon, the MLA escaped in his vehicle with security protections with him.
There are FIRs against the MLA in Tripura’s local Police stations also and he was summoned by Tripura High Court too. Against him allegation of attacks, violence are existing. The cases are under jurisdiction.
During elections, the Bahubali MLA has been seen in many videos threatening police officials on spot. Open rigging, beating of opposition leaders, activists during elections are mastered by MLA Ram Prasad Pal.
