AGARTALA, Aug 18 (TIWN): Terminated 10323 teachers whose fates were declared with final decision by Supreme Court on August 5th, have requested Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath to break his long time maintained silence and to come up with a solution to their problems. Addressing media with teary eyes, the teachers said, “As per para 18 of the verdict, Supreme Court clearly has said that there is no problem now for the Govt to give us alternative jobs. Also, Supreme Court did not mention whether the posting will be in Group-C or Group-D. We have lost our one more colleague on yesterday, but till now Education Minister has not said anything. We thought a solution will come out and Minister Ratanlal Nath will hold a press conference for us. But we are so unfortunate that till now, Education Minister has not conducted a single press meet dedicating for us, neither any solution came out for our futures. We are heavily tensed".

“We have talked to lawyers and they said, Govt can give us jobs and if the Govt is facing any issue to understand, then we can help the Govt. Para 20 only says that the case can not be reopened”, said Bijoy Krishna Saha, one of the terminated teachers.
