KAILASHAHAR, November 26 (TIWN): A 35 year old man namely Bishwajit Rabi Das a resident of Govindapur area under Kailashahar police station was stabbed on last night at around 11 pm near Kailashahar RGM hospital morgue.

The incident happened around 11 pm. The man was identified as Bishwajit Rabi Das, a resident of Govindapur area undergoing treatment in Silchar private hospital. According to sources, scuffle started among the three intoxicated friend namely Bishwajit Rabi Das, Laxman Rana Shatri and Arian Mia at Govindapur area all on a sudden Bishwajit Rabi Das was stabbed by Laxman Rana Shatri, said sources.

After getting the information police rushed o the spot and started investigation and a search operation but both Laxman Rana Shatri and Arian Mia were found absconding. A hunt is on to arrest both the accused related to the incident, said cops. The motive behind the attack is yet to ascertain.

At present Bishwajit Rabi Das is in ICU of Silchar private hospital, said sources.
