AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress raised voice against the paralysed Health Department of the State. The Youth Congress on Thursday strongly condemned the brutal death of 3 days old baby who succumbed to death for the mistreatment of GB Hospital's authority.

The agitators claimed that under BJP regime, especially from the time CM Biplab Deb is holding the responsibility of Health Ministry, the condition of Tripura's health services are crippled. Deaths are increasing for the mistreatment of hospital authorities. People's miseries are touching heights as the Prominent hospitals like GB, IGM are lacking basic life supports like providing oxygen cylinders, fan and AC in ICU, no doctors to treat the emergency patients etc.

In sign of protest, the agitation burnt idol of CM Biplab Deb. They also sought Biplab Deb's immediate resignation from Health Ministry. The agitators also demanded proper investigation on 3-days-old baby's death and sought strict action against the convicts behind this.

Reportedly, a 3-days-old baby was killed in GB hospital yesterday by the mistreatment of hospital authority. The baby boy died in the hospital after the doctors inserted a stick for nasal swab test (RT-PCR) of the baby, alleged the family members.

However, no official statement has been made by GB authority on this death. The child's mother informed that, after delivery the child was completely healthy and had no health issues. But after the doctors performed Corona tests, the little body of him couldn't bear it and the child died.

His family members broke down in tears, screamed for their little one's life outside the hospital. But no response from the higher authority came to them. The child's father sought strict action against his baby's death.
