Shop sealed for illegal stocks, poor quality of commodities

AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Like regular raids, today also, Food Dept held raids in shops, godowns in Agartala.
In such a drive a shop was seized in Badharghat for keeping rice and sugar which are illegal.
Also wheat’s quality was not up to the mark.
On Tuesday, the food inspectors and other officials have raided the market to check the authenticity of the essential commodity prices and quality.
The Food and Excise department officials said that such raids will be continued in different parts across the capital to check the quality of food and other stuffs in this period of world pandemic.
