Agartala, November 24 (TIWN): President of All India Rajiv Gandhi Educational and social justice forum, Amit Srivastav (a businessman) had lodged complaints against the driver for stealing the equipments of his truck. Though, Amit Srivastav the owner of the truck had tried to make a FIR to the Bodhjungnagar Police Station, but the officer-in-charge had denied registering a FIR. Being fed up of this the owner will lodge FIR within few days to the police court.
It is to be mentioned that the president of All India Rajiv Gandhi Educational and social justice forum, Amit Srivastav is a businessman carrying on the business of Transport with several vehicles. As a part of this, he had appointed a driver namely Sunil Bhagat to drive the vehicle No. WB-03C-6581 from Kolkata to Agartala to deliver the goods. The driver accordingly reached Agartala and unloaded the goods and parked the vehicle at Sherwali parking on 25/9/14.
After few days, one person had rang Amit and told that his truck is in a very deplorable condition. The owner immediately arrived Agartala and observed that the tyre, equipments, Battery tools and other gears and misappropriation of money worth Rs 60,000/-are missing from the Truck. He immediately informed this to the Bodhjungnagar Police Station mentioning that the driver Sunil Bhagat, had fled away by stealing the above mentioned things. But the police-in-charge had denied lodging complaint by mentioning that this would not fall under his jurisdiction, after that Amit had decided to lodge a case in to the police court within few days. So that no one should fall in such a awkward situation in future that Police is not registering a FIR.
