KAMALPUR, Nov 24(TIWN) : On 17th October,2014 , Congress unearthed a huge embezzlement of Centrally sponsored scheme’s fund in the CMO office. In the NRHM scheme, the embezzlement was roughly estimated to cross the limit of even 30 crores rupees. Under the pressure of Congress’ vehement protest and gherao led by MLA Birajit Sinha, the Senior Deputy Magistrate J.V. Duati assured of filing case from the part of the administration against the corrupt officials within seven days.
And the FIR MLA filed with the Kailasahar P.S. was not registered as a case. Now more than a period of one month passed after the discovery of embezzlement, the Department and Govt. remained entirely shut up on the matter. Even when contacted, the CMO declined to utter a single word as the documents were seized by the Central body of NRHM.
In this context some questions arose naturally about the goal and motif of the Govt. against corruption and also the justification of Govt.’s so-called crusade against corruption.
1) If the leftist regime really keen against corruption, so why exemplary steps yet to be taken in the truest sense against the big fishes of this corruption ?
2) Why so-called transparent police not registered the complaint of MLA Birajit Sinha ?
3) Why the Senior Deputy Magistrate of the Unakoti District administration failed to keep her words?
4) If a bureaucrat like Senior Deputy Magistrate failed to keep her words, then what scenario in the leftist administration prevailed in Tripura ?
5) Last but not the least and perhaps the most important one, does any chance prevail in Tripura to punish and net the corrupts and to virtually end corruption?
However, all the questions are buzzing in the air of Tripura, but who would answer it. Only a CBI investigation can unearth this rampant looting by Manik's left front Govt.
