AGARTALA, July 18 (TIWN): West SP Manik Das on Saturday has stated that actions are being taken against the Lockdown violators in the border areas.

“Massive fines impositions are going on there as violations were reported……”, Das told media.

Tripura Govt had imposed total lockdown in border area’s 1 km zone in rural and half km in urban bodies but today it was seen that people are desperately violating laws there. Those footages came in media.

Reacting over those activities in border areas, SP West has said that no violation to be tolerated.

This lockdown was necessitated for 7 days from 17th July with the increasing CIVID-19 pandemic in the state with 3 fatalities.
