AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has announced 3% increment of Tripura Govt employees salaries.
In a cabinet meeting this decision was taken on Friday. Addressing media, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath said, "When many states are cutting salaries of employees, Biplab Deb Govt has decided to increase it. In Kerala, the CPI-M Govt has cut salaries amid High Court's stay order by passing an ordinance. But here we have decided to pay more".
In another decision, Govt has come to the economic solution of COVID-19 pandemic that 30% salaries of the MLAs to be cut.
"If a person of Group-A gets Rs. 90,000 basic, then s/he will get Rs.2,700 more. Group-B, whose Group-B, whose basic is Rs.83,200, s/he will get Rs.2,500 more. Group-C, whose basic is 30,500 will et Rs. 900 more. Group D, whose basic is Rs. 22,100, will get Rs. 700 more", said Ratanlal Nath.
