AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): On Thursday afternoon Tripura's Ex-health Minister who was eventually one of the most popular and loveable Minister among common people for his works, placed a complaint letter to DGP Rajiv Singh about dirty attacks on him and his family by Biplab Deb fans on social media.
Reportedly, a Facebook page named "Biplab Deb Fans Club" posted dirty statements about MLA Sudip Roy Barman and his family a few days back. Although Tripura police and Cyber branch seems very active when it comes to any statement against the ruling party and it's the leader but this time they haven't taken any action against that particular post. Even though the post was defaming and insulting and a dirty cyber-attack by Tripura CM's fans.
While addressing media MLA Sudip Roy Barman said, "One Facebook page named CM Biplab Kumar Deb Fans Club has posted derogatory just to malign me and my family which is no way related to the reality. I've met with DGP incharge and filed one complaint against the post."
"We have seen that Tripura police is so active and quick against Facebook users, why they aren't taking any action now? Why the police are so inactive in this particular case? Is it because the criminals are fans of CM biplab Kumar Deb?" Said Barman.
Ex-health minister Sudip Roy Barman was sacked by CM Biplab Kumar Deb himself as he raised voice against the higher authority of health department for their wrong doings. It is to mention that, he was the most successful Minister of Tripura's 28 month's BJP-IPFT led government, and it is rare to see a leader is loved by all sections of citizens for his works like Barman. Now the question arises, are the BJP supporters trying to hide the failure of 28 month's BJP govt by attempting dirty and pervert attacks on a leader who's popular among the public.
