AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): Saranjan Debbarma’s death has raised doubts on Community Transmission in Tripura, alerting why the people of Tripura should be most careful, specially with light health fall. As per witness of the patient’s health deterioration, Saranjan Debbarma was admitted on 15th July in GB hospital and died on 16th July, within 24 hours of his admission as he might have brought to the hospital at last stage. Before admitting in GB, he was taken to Khowai hospital, referred to GB and died after few hours. Saranjay Debbarma was not well from 1 week but he did not come to Doctor and when in last stage he developed breathing problem, on that time, he was taken to Khowai hospital. It happened as there was no alert in their area. It proves, why with mild symptoms patients should contact Doctors.
The locals are clueless about the transmission factor of the virus as Lt Saranjay Debbarma was in his village at Khowai and only worked in paddy fields. So, community transmission is a concern for the state.
