KHUMULWNG, July 9 (TIWN): During a 24 hours strike in the ADC, which was called by BJP’s aligned party IPFT in protest against the arrest of IPFT member Pradip Debbarma, IPFT MLA Biswaketu Debbarma has lambasted BJP on its ‘fake promises’.

When media asked his stand on BJP’s claimed development in ADC, the MLA said, “Their promise is meaningless and they can promise to bring stars from the sky. But the reality is just like 10323 teachers”.

(10323 teachers who have lost their jobs in scheduled Supreme Court’s order were promised by the BJP that it will save the teachers, once they come to the power, but the teachers are left jobless for 3 months)

The MLA also raised finger at BJP Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who gave tall promises to the teachers.

“Only Anarchy is going on in the state. The MLAs, Ministers have no freedom. They are getting nothing from the Govt and nobody has any voice to speak. You ask the BJP MLAs. Everyone is upset. If the BJP thinks that by destroying IPFT it will continue to enjoy power, then it is thinking AKASH-KUSHUM (Imaginary World)”, said MLA Biswaketu Debbarma.
