Lok Janashakti party asked the State government to relax Electricity Bill of last 3 months

AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): The Lok Janashakti party held a press conference on Monday, raising various issues of the state, where the prominent one is to ask the government for relaxing the last three months electricity bill of every citizen of Tripura.
The lok Janashakti party leader said,"In this crucial period where most of the daily workers lost their way of income, people are starving, it's very difficult to pay the high amount of electricity bill. As everyone was locked in their houses, it is very simple that the bills came out so high. How the poor people will pay such big amount when arranging two meals is a big challenge now?"
They have placed deputation to the deputy CM and Minister of Power Jishnu Debbarma for looking into this matter and also to give 100 units subsidy to the BPL families for another three months.
The leader also informed that few people from CPI-M and BJP has joined Lok Janashakti party on Monday.
