AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Taking a dig at the BJP led State and Central Govts, former Minister cum Gana Mukti Parishad (GMP) President Jitendra Choudhury has asked the Governments to focus on poverty reduction in the ADC, rural areas of this Northeast state Tripura.

“With huge propagandas, schemes were announced by the BJP Govt promising a fund flow, but in reality, nothing has been given by Tripura Govt except freeing Rs. 2 rice. It means only 20 to 40 rupees have been helped to the poor”, said Jitendra Choudhury.
