Reportedly, on Wednesday afternoon driver Pintu was coming from Agartala to Sonamura direction when his car met with accident. The front glasses got broken. Locals alleged that he was driving recklessly. They also informed that he was carrying illegal stuffs in the car.

 

After the incident they informed police yet the police didn't come. There were 5 farmers passing by the road and the car tend to hit them badly, could risk their life also, alleged the locals.

 

After calling many times at the police station, Bishalgarh PS's SI Tapan Debnath with TSR team came to the spot , but by that time driver Pintu escaped from the place with the items he was hiding from the locals, said the locals.

 

 Some of them claimed that the driver escaped infront of SI Tapan Debnath, he could easily catch him yet he did not. Such negligence of Bishalgarh police made the locals question on the role of police.
