AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): First ever lockdown's passengers train with stranded people have arrived in Agartala on Wednesday which started from May 10 with around 1,200 passengers from Bengaluru. After arrived, each of the passenger's screening had been done and then taken for sample collection in random selection methods, as they have travel history and entering from other states. For the next trains also, same process will be followed. Talking to the arrived people, they expressed their happiness on home-state arrival. One of the passengers said, “This is like end of their much awaited home returning day. Ofcourse, we faced a lot of problems and in 3 days journey also, huge problems were faced but still finally we are in our State. Feeling relaxed and happy”. The passengers also thanked the State Govt for this management as they were heavily suffering due to lockdown. In Agartala Railway Station, massive management on behalf of Health Dept was done. Everyone in social distances stood in rows for screening and name entries. They will be taken for sample collection and then to be released for home, where 14 days quarantine will be strictly followed.

“Shramik special train carrying around 1200 stranded people has arrived in Agartala from Bangalore today. I am happy as they all returned to state safely. They are now undergoing proper screening as per health protocals. With blessings of Mata Tripurasundari, all stranded people will be brought back soon”, Chief Minister Biplab Deb said in a tweet.
