KAMALPUR, NOV. 17, (TIWN) : The scam tainted DWS division of Kamalpur yet to receive more jolts as the DM Dhalai Dr. Milind Ramteke thinking of exemplary action in the Joshitilla water tank collapse incident after getting the investigation reports. Today DM hinted TIWN about this in a telephonic conversation.
The DM Dr. Milindram Teke told that, both the investigation reports done by ADM and SE(Superintending Engineer) are at his table. After having a look he found some similarities in both the reports. He told, “ There was technical defect in the structure of the tank, so far I’ve seen the reports. Instead of building the tank on the RCC pillars, the Agency has built it on the Brick pillar.” Beside, the agency had not built any retaining wall for the tank. As a result, the tank could not bear the pressure of water for weak construction and it collapsed on the bathing BSF jawan. However, the DM also informed that it would take two more days to compile the reports and get the technical clarifications from different engineers, before taking final decision. However, it is almost clear that, the Implementing Engineer and the Agency have to perish severe jolt in this life-snatching scam.

It is to mention that, on 20th October last, a newly built water tank at Joshitilla BSF BOP collapsed on a bathing BSF jawan Sriramakrishna(35) and wounded him severely. On that very day, he was shifted to Kolkata and there he succumbed to his injuries on 25th October. The DM initiated investigation by the ADM and SE(Superintending Engineer) separately. Both of them submitted their reports on Saturday last to the DM and he is to finalize his decision within next two days probably.
