27 Total Active cases in Tripura now, as 13 more tested positive in BSF 138 Bn including 2 children

AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): In another breaking update, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced that total 13 persons more tested positive in Tripura's 138 Bn at Ambassa under Dhalai District, including two kids. Thus, total 27 active cases in state right now. CM tweeted, "Government has already arranged proper medical facilities for all the COVID-19 positive patients. Team of specialised doctors is taking proper care of the patients. There is no report of any positive case among the local people of Ambassa. I pray for the speedy recovery of all the patients. Don't panic, follow the Government guidelines. Stay Home and be safe. We are working vigilantly for your safety". This is the first time that children in this state are infected by COVID19. Chief Minister has asked the state not to panic as Health Dept has taken full measures for the patients treatments. Earlier on May 1st, two patients were tested positive in Tripura's 138 unit of BSF at Ambassa and then quarantine and sample testing process started. During the process on yesterday 12 persons and today 13 persons were tested positive. Tripura had total 29 cases and 2 recovered long back. Now 27 active cases are in state and all are from BSF 138 Bn. Patients have been brought to the GB hospital.
