AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): Purvaudaya NGO has distributed rations among thousand families in Majlishpur. The dry ration packets comprised of rice, daal, oil etc.

Along with rations, masks distribution programme also took place led by NGO General Secretary Niti Deb, W/O-Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb.

The total programme was done by maintaining social distances although the numbers of beneficiaries were huge.

Local MLA Sushanta Chowdhury was also present during the distribution programme. It was known that MLA Sushanta Chowdhury had covered more than 6000 families in Constituency and also he has a plan to add another 2000 in next one week to make it a total 8000 head count.

Purvaudaya NGO General Secretary Niti Deb, W/O-CM Biplab Deb also cooks every evening to supply cooked food items to needy people.
