AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): Like the Agartala Govt Medical College (AGMC), the Tripura Medical College (TMC) staffs also demanded transportation for them to smooth their movements up to the hospital premise during lockdown.
Tripura Govt also arranging TRTC services for various Govt employees including those who will check Board examination copies.
In this situation, for front line warriors of TMC, no such arrangement has been facilitated, led the staffs to demand an equal treatment for them too.
Due to transport problems, there are lots of issues the staffs have to follow, including answering police spot to spot by showing passes. To manage the circumstances, the TMC staffs via social media also demanded same from the State Govt.
On Saturday, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath visited TMC hospital and praised the management.
TMC at Hapania is working like ‘model hospital’ with minimum bed numbers but can be the future of State Govt hospitals' role model. The medical expenditure is bearable at least for the middle class families in comparison with high charging expensive private hospitals. They give excellent treatment, strict observation of the authority remains on the employees. The hospital is also clean and disciplined and for critical patients, Doctor’s team everyday gives report to the patients parties. Public opinion on TMC is high-reputing.
