AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): Tripura Graduate Fisheries Officers Association (TGFOA) has donated an amount of Rs. 75151/- to CM relief fund in a humanitarian gesture to fight against COVID-19.
“The cheque was handed over to Dy. CM Jishnu Debbarman, by Samir Malla, Secretary, TGFOA and Abani Debbarma, (Joint Director, Dept. Of Fishery, Tripura)Advisor, TGFOA. TGFOA appreciates the Government efforts in fighting COVID-19 in the state. The Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman has accepted the gesture and appreciated the effort of TGFOA”, said TGFOA in a statement.
In Tripura, massive donations have been continuing in Chief Minister’s relief funds and Govt is fully utilizing these amounts to help the needy people financially including JHUMIA and Floriculture led workers. For TGFOA it crossed Rs. 75 thousand which is factually a huge amount. Other organizations, groups also have dedicated their service to the State Govt so that it can battle at its best in this COVID19 pandemic crisis.
