AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): PM Modi assured help for Tripura in this crisis situation. Tripura’s both COVID19 patients recovering as State Govt taken all measures to tackle this pandemic. Along with the Chief Ministers of other states, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb also took part in a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday.Chief Minister apprised the Prime Minister about the latest COVID situation in Tripura and the steps taken by the state government to deal with the pandemic.
Amid discussions of various important matters, the Prime Minister has assured full-fledged support for Tripura in this fight against the novel coronavirus. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister today interacted with the Chief Ministers of all states via Video Conferencing to discuss measures to combat COVID-19.
The state government under the leadership of Chief Minister is following the guidelines properly while dealing the situation.
The Chief Minister in a tweet said the state and central governments are working together to overcome the COVID19 pandemic.
“Took part in video conference with @PMOIndia Shri @narendramodi & other CMs, apprised him about the latest COVID19 situation of Tripura Hon’ble PM has assured full support to Tripura in this fight against COVID19. Centre & State Govts are working jointly to overcome this pandemic,” the Chief Minister tweeted.
In the meantime, Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb today announced that the state government would provide a one-time financial assistance of Rs. 1000 to 372 newspaper hawkers each.
The state government would provide the monetary help from Chief Minister’s relief Fund. The decision has been taken to support the newspaper hawkers and their families so that they don’t face any problem during the lockdown, the Chief Minister said in his social media handle today.
“Our Govt has decided to provide Rs. 1000 to 372 newspaper hawkers each. The financial assistance will be provided from Chief Minister's Relief Fund. We took the decision so that the newspapers hawkers don't face any problem during the lock down,” the Chief Minister wrote in his social media handle.
