‘No private employee, worker should be deprived of salaries during lockdowns’ : Tripura Govt orders owners

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, March 22 (TIWN): Govt of Tripura has issued a verbal order to the businessmen, shopkeepers, private companies on whom huge numbers of employees are dependent that they should not deprive their employees with salary during their absence / shutdown due to lockdowns.
Calling a press meet, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has said this on yesterday.
Tripura Government has also issued warning to all the businessmen not to attempt to stock illegal food grains with ill motive as with the lockdown chances are pronounced a section of businessmen have started gathering items in secret stocks leading blackmarketing probabilities.
