AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): For the 10323 teachers in Tripura, this Holi festival is without colours, full of tension and no joy as only 22 days left that the teachers’ ad-hoc tenure will be ended.
Govt is just tightlipped over the situation and yet to disclose what has been arranged for the 10323 teachers’ livelihoods.
The tensed 10323 teachers have warned the BJP Govt to go in hunger strike if their problems are not soon sorted out.
The teachers today held a convention and asked Govt via that programme to announce soon, what alternative arrangement the Govt has done for them.
10323 teachers had lost their jobs in High Court and Supreme Court order after the courts found irregularities in the teachers recruitment in 2009-10.
Thus, even though statewide, people celebrating Holi festival, the 10323 teachers are undergoing nightmares.
