AGARTALA, Feb 29 (TIWN): Amid statewide hunger and poverty, Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has announced that per person income is over 1 lakh in Tripura.
Earlier the same Minister had claimed that around 86% of the budget plan is fulfilled in Tripura.

This statement came after people are dying without food, over 60% people are BPL. However, state also tops in unemployment with 32.7%
However, in this claim row, CM is not also lagging behind. CM said, he is happy that people of Tripura is no more having a that set of mind, neither reputation is like before. Here youths have become job creators and thus state is freed from “Kangaalipona”.
Earlier also CM insulted Govt jobs seekers many times, calling Govt employees are burdens for a Govt.
“Earlier, whenever people talked about Tripura, they used to slam Tripura calling them Kangal but today I am proud that Tripura is no more Kangal but people are dedicated to work and engaged in job creations”, said CM.
Amid 32.7% unemployment rate existing in Tripura, CM said only 4.5% unemployed youths remained in state. He said out of 6.45 lakhs 1.77 are remained workless.
However, Tripura tops in unemployment and the unemployment rate has increased not double but triple under BJP-IPFT Govt.
