AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Feb 26 (TIWN): ‘DA only possible after cow-industry grows in Tripura' ! Biplab Deb’s bizarre talk directly exposed State Govt’s failure to give DA to employees. The gaffe prone, who is holding a disaster image nationally for his funny logic and vision, Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Deb honestly announced in November 3, 2019 that without cow milk industry develops in Tripura, he can not afford the DA of the employees of his state. He gave that responsibility to Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and PWD for that. Thus, not a surprise that since election victory no DA was cleared to the Govt employees. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb was addressing in an animal husbandry programme and said that unless animal husbandry employees can’t grow cow related industry in state, DA is not possible led the whole auditorium to laugh aloud.

Amid massive DA pending of the Govt employees, Tripura Govt is not in a move to take any immediate decision to dissolve the DA issue. Recently, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma, who is also holding the portfolio of Finance, has assured the State Govt employees on Saturday that BJP led State Govt is positive to all the demands.

On the other side, State Govt continues to claim massive revenue generation happening in Tripura under the BJP Govt. It can be mentioned here that giving 7th Pay Commission was a promise of not the State BJP but it was promise of Central BJP Govt and Vision Document was unopened by none other than, the then Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. Before Election Amit Shah said that in the first cabinet meeting 7th pay commission will be implemented once the BJP to be established in power. Also in Vision Document 7th Pay Commission provision was promised whereas like many other promises this promise was ended by 0.32 factor hikes. However, it was believed before election as PM Modi promises to chug “Double Engine” to fulfill all dreams of Government employees. No DA was given to a major section of employees since BJP assumed power.

In 2017, Manik Sarkar implemented Pay revision of 2.25 Factor hike of State Govt Employees, now Biplab Deb fooled Tripura by naming it 7th CPC, hiked a meagre 0.32 Factor totaling to 2.57 Factor, which is much lesser than the 7th Pay Commission Central Govt Pay scales.

Modi, Amit Shah, Sunil Deodhar, Biplab Deb said in all Pre-Election rallies that 7th Pay Commission will be given to all Tripura’s 2 Lakhs Govt employees on March 4,2018 immediately after winning Election on March 3,2018.

However, as a matter of eyewash all the BJP Ministers in the Cabinet are now trying to divert the attention of the employees and pensioners with a pay revision of merely 2.57 hike from Manik Sarkar era’s 2.25 factor that is only 0.32 factor hike.
