High Court’s verdict against State Govt’s Illegal Cancellation of Recruitment Process ushered hopes for thousands of Victimized Job Aspirants : BJP Govt’s various anti-people policies causing public misery

AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Tripura Govt’s various wrong steps causing public misery. High Court has made clear that in the name of New Recruitment Policy, the already given jobs or ongoing recruitments can not be scraped according to the Govt’s wishes and everything should be followed by process. TIWN back in 2018 after Govt announced about cancellation of ongoing jobs reported there are chances of youths if fight legally. However, late, but justice received after one and half year as High Court’s verdicts are going in support of victimized unemployed youths. Yesterday’s transport dept related jobs verdict has ushered a hope among unemployed youths including many as TSR, Police job aspirants whose recruitments were cancelled by the BJP Govt. Tripura High Court on Tuesday has rubbished Govt’s "Ongoing Recruitment Cancellation" step taken in 2018 in the name of ‘New Recruitment Policy’, ordering appointment of Drivers under the Transport Dept by 3 months, who are the batch of 2015-interview and cleared the interviews by 2017.

After BJP Govt illegally, without any reason cancelled all ongoing recruitment, in 2018, August the victimized candidates filed a petition in the High Court.Earlier former Chief Justice Ajay Rastogi also stated that in no way their jobs can be terminated and today Justice Subashish Talapatra gave the final verdict in favour of the Job aspirants. Reportedly, in 2015, the Transport Dept called for filling up drivers' posts and many were selected but when in 2018, after the Govt changed, in the name of "New Recruitment Policy", all the interviews / recruitments were cancelled one after one including this one led by BJP Law Minister Ratanlal Nath's declarations after cabinet meeting. Now, High Court has ordered to fill up the posts and restored the ongoing recruitment process.

Addressing media, senior Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman said, “The drivers who were selected for jobs, the BJP Govt played with their fortunes, but today High Court has given them justice. No injustice can be tolerated and a Govt can't impose its dictatorship everywhere by violating the norms. Our young advocate Samarjit battled for the job aspirants in the Court and Justice Subashish Talapatra has given the verdict. The recruitment started in 2015 and the were selected by 2017”.

“BJP Govt’s sudden decision of scrapping all recruitment process for all departments had caused distress for the job aspirants. That Tughlaqian decision hit many unemployed youths. One the one side, Govt talks about recruitment and filling up vacant posts but on the other side those who are qualified, their livelihoods are snatched. Thus, today justice was given to the deprived people”, Adv. Purushottom Roy Barman told media.

This verdict has ushered hopes for all victimzied unemployed youths, whose recruitment were cancelled by the BJP Govt in 2018 including TPSC exams.
