AGARTALA, Feb 3 (TIWN): Ground reports based on sources is horrifying from the Khayerpur constituency. The Kahayerpur constituency is famous for brooding, nursing, sheltering and capacity building of mafia. Recently a new mafia cluster has formed in Briddhanagar under Kahayerpur constituency .The mafia group has formed in new commercial pattern. Some of mafia members are the close relatives of MP,West Tripura. This report is based on secret sources.
Some local person have informed MLA (Kahayerpur constituency) about various activities of this mafia cluster over telephone and MLA has replied that he is an old man and how can he control all these young person. After that the villagers also informed CM personally in his resident.
This group has started illegal sand collection from Howra River near the house of Binod Bihari Ghosh and make sand collection as commercial activities of . The Forest Protection Team has visited this place and requested to spot illegal sand collection. Suddenly some mafia have attacked the Forest Protection Team with weapon and injured some of staffs of Forest Department. All though Forest Department has not share this incident due to shame of Department.
There was a small ashram (Kunjabihari Sebadham) in Briddhanagar and some old persons regularly organised some religious activities in the ashram. This group forcefully captured this ashram and demolish all the construction of ashram and sale it for money. Some member of this group, named Gautam Das ,Bhulan Ghosh and Ajoy Ghosh have physical attacked Jayanta Prhavu(Monk of Kunjabihari Sebadham ) in front of villagers openly.
In the same style they have threatening and warning a widow lady and her only daughter to vacant their parental house. The widow lady and her daughter have informed several times to local police station. But police have not taken a single action in this matter.
One person has searching for customer to sale his prenatal land property nearby Sachindra Lal Das Anganwadi Centre,Briddhanagar and also some consumer has visited to see the land & this mafia group demanded 30% of the sales price of the land. So in this situation the owner of the land has facing lot of problem due to this group.
This group has physically attacked Mr. Ganesh Bhowmik, dealer of Fair Price Shop of Briddhanagar(Near by the house of Harendra Ghosh ) in front of customer in his shop due to irregular payment of Hapta from his shop. The dealer has informed local police station about this incident and Br. Bishnu Kr. Das. Police Officer has arranged a jumla drama of police investigation procedure .
No body of this area are not in a position to done any construction activities of houses due to fear of this group. This group demands money from the suppliers of soil, brick and other construction materials.
Rajesh Debnath,Ex-Mandal President and Kumud Lal Das, Ex- Vice President, Mandal have reported to local MLA and Krishnanagar Office several times. This group have changed the President and Vice President of Mandal through MP, West Tripura . The detail list of this mafia cluster is given bellow
