Congress demands rehabilitation for Ananda Bazar violence victims

KANCHANPUR, Feb 2 (TIWN): Tripura Congress leader Subal Bhowmik along with other Congress leaders have met Kanchanpur’s Ananda Bazar violence victims on Sunday who turned homeless before 53 days followed by a clash incident at there.
Along with Subal Bhowmik many Congress leaders visited that place and also visited Ananda Bazar Police Station, talked to police.
Reportedly, for last 53 days 410 persons are left homeless followed by an ethnic violence, who are only provided Rs. 2,000 per day for everyone’s commodity.
In the mean time 13 people became ill but no help was given. Congress demanded equal packages for them like Brus have received.
The Congress party also donated Rs. 10,000 to the victims after meeting them.
