AGARTALA, Feb 1 (TIWN): Mockery of Democracy, misuse of police machinery, influence in judicial matters and BJP Govt’s political vendetta with the opposition leaders, activists once again exposed as after keeping Badal Chowdhury in custody, inhuman tortures, Police finally failed to submit any chargesheet against Chowdhury. High Court has given bail to Badal Chowdhury. A major faceloss for BJP, also faceloss for CM Biplab Deb and his Law Minister Ratanlal Nath who during festival season in Tripura polluted the religious programmes by unbelievable hate speeches, insulting remarks against badal Chowdhury. One of the cabinet Ministers Ratanlal Nath even indirectly signaled pathetic death of Badal Chowdhury like many communist leaders. Addressing media, senior advocate Purushottom Roy Barman said, “High Court has given bail to Badal Chowdhury as Police totally failed to submit chargesheet against Badal Chowdhury. Badal Chowdhury was arrested on 21st October, 2019".
"Total 87 days have been passed since Badal Chowdhury produced before the Court for first time. Thus it is once again proven that it was a totally vendetta politics of the BJP Govt”.

On being asked by media, what is the future possibilities of the case, Barman said, “Now it depends on the police how it prepares the chargesheet. But whether police can submit any chargesheet or not, it is to be seen. Till now police have tried a lot but failed to prepare chargesheet. Our stand was clear that this case is totally politically biased case and nothing else”.
“Badal Chowdhury is always helpful to police and will definitely cooperate with police for investigation”, said the senior advocate.
