Agartala, Nov 8 (TIWN): Prantosh Das, who was arrested from Ambassa recently in connection with the Dilip Ghosh murder case, is likely to be made as approver to crack the gruesome murder case. Keeping the plea of prosecution team for police remand on reserve, the court Friday sent the Prantosh Ghosh to jail custody till Monday. The CJM court instructed to Investigating Officer (IO) to submit the case diary (CD) before the court on November 10. After studying the CD, the court will consider the plea of prosecution lawyer for 10-day police remand.
After four-day judicial remand, police produced Prantosh one of the key players in sensational murder before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) seeking police remand for interrogation Friday. The court has also rejected the plea of bail order. The next hearing is scheduled to be held on Monday.
To know the answer of 9 questions into this case and to recover the revolver used to kill Dilip Ghosh, the prosecution team appealed before the CJM court to take Prantosh into police remand for 10 days. According to the police sources, Investigating Officer (IO) is planning to make Prantosh an approver to crack the sensational Dilip Ghosh murder case.
It is to be mentioned here; earlier, INTERPOL had issued a red-corner notice against most wanted Mujibur Rahaman and Balaram Rajbhar in connection with cases vide no. A-4639/6-2014 and A-4636/6-2014. Both of them are wanted in West Agartala PS Case No. 346/13, U/S 1203/302/34 IPC and 27 of Arms Act. related for killing of Dilip Ghosh on November 09, last year at Ramnagar Road No 9 in Agartala. They are absconding to evade the arrest.
Mujibur and Balaram along with other co- accused persons killed one Dilip Ghosh with sharp cutting weapon and gunshot around 10.30 pm on November 09, last year. Subsequently some of the co-accused persons were arrested. Investigation revealed that the wanted persons are directly involved into this sensational case.
