AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): From gaffe prone Chief Minister, now gaffe stocks of other leaders hit the Cabinet of the BJP-IPFT Govt as along with CM, Tripura’s Education Minister is releasing gaffes one after one in a full wave. Before few months, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath compared Agartala auto fare with space-journey, saying rockets costing lower than roadway rides under Modi era, then one month back, the Minister said that 86% people in India are infected by HIV AIDS. Now, netizens have suggested Nath to go for a mental checkup after he said that one 26th January Mumbai attack took place and thus 26th January is also a sad day for India. On Republic Day ceremony, Ratan Lal said that 'November 26th, 26th January, on this day Bombay attack took place'- Minister’s abnormal comment of calling 26th January as 26th November, 2008 when Mumbai attacks took place, reminded public Ratan Lal’s earlier abnormal comments ‘India’s 86% infected by AIDs’ disease. Social media users have trolled the Minister for his bizarre comment, confusion with dates saying 26th January is also a day for mourning as the Mumbai terror attack took place in the very day.

This is not the first time that the Minister has said so but earlier also due to similar speeches he was trolled in social media. Both the Chief Minister and Ratanlal Nath having record of extra, unnecessary talks led them to tarnish their images by themselves.

It should not matter if auto-service in Agartala charges rupees 10 per kilometer as citing example of India’s development, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said on September 5, 2019 India is progressing and all other countries are being surprised with our country’s invention.

“It is only Rs. 7 per km for India to go to Mars. That is how much the journey to mars cost India. That is cheaper than an auto ride in Agartala is Rs. 10”, said Ratanlal Nath.
