KAILASAHAR, November 5 (TIWN) : Suspense over mysterious looting of 15 lakh rupees of Tripura Gramin Bank from the personal car of the Branch Manager deepens as even after 48 hours, police is yet to trace any clue. OC Sabir Ahamed told TIWN toady, “ We are yet to trace any clue. Even the eye-witnesses are not being able to help us to draw the sketch of the culprit.†In this hopeless situation of police local people almost lost hope of the recovery of money with the miscreants.The saga of hopelessness engulfed the authority of Tripura Gramin Bank. While talking to TIWN, thw Regional Manager of TGB Nibaran Rupini told, “ We are looking for the investigation of police and the decisions of the higher authority. The suspense should end soon.†The central character of this incident and who is under police radar is Branch Manager Parthapratim Banik told TIWN “ I am passing my days under extreme mental agony. I have filed an FIR with the police.
I am happy with the investigation of the police as they are trying their best.” But the burning question of the time is what would happen with the money and if it would remain unearthed. On 3rd November last when Parthapratim Banik, the Branch Manager of TGB Dolugaon branch withdrew 15,00,000 rupees from the United Bank of India branch for his Gramin Bank and kept it in his personal car then suddenly the money got looted in the blink of eyes. Still the Branch Manager is under the radar of police and the money is yet to recovered. This incident created much sensation among the locales of area.
