AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): In 2017, December 6, Tripura journalists met President of India Ramnath Kovind demanding CBI investigation in two journalists' murders. Chief Minister Biplab Deb announced BJP Govt’s decision of CBI investigation in two Journalist murder cases, whereas in Sudip Dutta Bhoumik’s murder case, CBI could not develop much after 20 months of BJP Govt and followed Left Govt’s investigation satisfactorily, which means in case of Sudip Dutta Bhoumik murder case Police under Manik Sarkar Govt worked in correct direction although before the Election Subal Dey led a massive anti-Communist protest whereas it was his negligence and alleged extortion led Journalist Sudip Dutta Bhoumik’s murder brutally.Before Sudip Dutta Bhowmik’s murder’s 2 months Santanu Bhoumik was murdered and now Subal Dey and his company are silent in Santanu’s case as it will affect BJP-IPFT’s alliance. Earlier CBI booked over 300 IPFT workers names including an MLA but since then the case has been suppressed totally.

After public pressure,UP CM Yogi Adityanath requested CBI investigation against his own rapist MLA Kudip Singh Sengar and CBI taken over investigation within 24 hours but why Biplab Deb’s promise of CBI investigation didn’t even begin after 2 months ? Surprisingly, since BJP assumed power, all the BJP aligned Journalists who were leading protests for CBI investigation during CPI-M era, now chosen to seal their mouths for some unknown reasons. Reason is Subal Dey is a party cadre based Editor and can not write against Biplab Deb.

State’s journalists centering the murders of journalists used their bodies also too to promote own images rushed to Delhi led by Syndan Newspaper Editor Subal Dey, Local TV channel owner Pranab Sarkar, PhotographerJakir Hossain, The Hindu journalist Sajjad Ali and more to meet the President of India Ramnath Kovind alleging which was nothing but free trip to the capital city.

Recently also same was proposed among journalists that all must have one more round of Delhi tour, however, it was postponed as state already knows these journalists intentions and political bootlicking with journalists’ dead bodies.
