Belonia, October 31 (TIWN): Belonia Lord Jaganath Temple is running with many unholy activities.There is a complaint from many devotees like Nirmal Saha and others of Belonia against Sevait of Jagannath Temple of Belonia.

The temple was established during 1958 with generous donation from locals .The present Sevait is utilizing the religious establishment only for his personal interests paying no respect for the wishes of the devotees.

It is also noted that the Sevait is running a hotel business here in the name of the religious institution. According to Sevait, the then Chief Secretary S.K Panda instructed the then DM Saumitra Bandhopadhya to help Sevait for running this type of commercial activities in the temple. It also maybe possible that Sevait is using high official names to hide his questionable activities but it seems he knew former Chief Secretary Panda very well back from Orissa..

Local people have deep attachment with these holy temple .Present activities of Lord Jagannath Temple hurt the feeling of the devotees.

Even Sevait was not present himself when chairman called him to attend in a meeting regarding development of the temple. Moreover devotees like Nimai Saha and Madan Sengupta along with the then Ex- MLA Dilip Muhuri lodge a written complaint to District Administration.
