KAILASAHAR, October 30 (TIWN) : Even after 72 hours of the under-aged school girl rape incident at Bhagabannagar, the police failed to net the culprit. And in last 12 cases of rapes police netted the culprits of only two cases. Again this failure and negligence of police, Kailasahar District Congress organized a protest rally and deputation today evening, at Kailasahar. Leadership of District Congress President led by Md Badruzzaman, and women delegation met with SDPO Sudipta Das and demanded strong and early action in the Bhagabannagar incident. They demanded the quick arrest of culprits of other 12 cases too.

 However, the SDPO stated that as the whereabouts of the culprit was incorrect so he successfully absconded. But he assured that, the police would net the culprits very early. It is noteworthy that, today morning MLA Birajit Sinha visited the house of the rape-victim under-aged girl of Bhagabannagar and assured every possible help.
