AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): The Diwali markets in Agartala reeling under profit drought due to ongoing economic crisis and also the unfriendly weather across.
A businessman in the crackers market at Gol Bazar said that he is experiencing a 90% drop in his business, whereas another said in compare to last year this year markets are under slowdown.
However, a young businessman whose shop is well-decorated said the business is moderate, but little loss than the recently held Laxmi puja but candles are sold in good numbers.
In Durga puja and Laxmi puja also various markets alleged tremendous losses this year which was analyzed with the national economic slowdown.
Diwali to be celebrated tomorrow and in Tripura, the main festival is held at Udaipur Matabari.
