AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): Low-cost carrier Air Asia has begun operations in Tripura from today.

Chief Minsiter Biplab Deb, Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MP Rebati Tripura, MP Pratima Bhowmik remained present on that occasion.

It has connected Agartala Airport with Imphal, Guwahati, Kolkata, Delhi.

This would decrease the flight crisis problems which the state is undergoing since SpiceJet removed services from Tripura.
