AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Friday attended a “Janata Durbar†in Korbook in Gomati District.
While attending, CM met various locals of that place and heard their agonies.
Biplab Deb said, people’s demands remained so far in general like market shed and various public projects.
“The previous Govt made many market-sheds that’s true but such areas like Korbook left without sheds. I have directed the authority here so that after one year when I will come, there should not be any lapses”, said Deb.
On being asked by media where will be his next “Janata Durbar” conducted, CM said, it’s not decided yet but most likely, he will chose any place from ADC areas to know about the local people’s problems at there.
It can be noted that ADC election is also coming closer and CM’s meeting with locals may help the ruling Govt to know about actual condition of the indigenous people.
