AGARTALA, Oct 15 ( TIWN ) : Tripura police continued violation of Court's order on Mondaynight. After the illegal raid at CPI-M office on Monday without any search warrant, now they are avoiding the bail-bond from Ex- Minister Badal Chowdhury. By not accepting the bail-bonds of former Minister, police have shown the sign of become the bootlickers of BJP. Court has already accepted former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury's interim bail at the bond of Rs. 3 lacks, but the I/O denied the bail, showed Complete negligence towards court's order.
Advocate Arindam Bhattacharjee, while talking to media said that there was no I/ O for accepting the bail for hours, which is a complete violation of court. He also said that, " It was almost that we came to surrender in the Police Station but violating Court's order, Badal Chowdhury's bond was denied. As there was no I/O for accepting the bond, we have tried to do a GD entry, stating the whole matter. But they did not even allow us to do that either. Now let's see till where it goes. "
This is the unfortunate way of Tripura Police becoming the bootlicker of ruling government, that they don't even care to respect court's order.
