AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): Assam Rifles celebrated 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by organising various events in the State.

'Run for Clean and Green India' was organised at Agartala & Radhanagar. The event was aimed at spreading message of Healthy living, Afforestation and keeping the environment Clean. 340 locals participated in the event.

'Swacchta Abhiyan' campaign was also organised at Udaipur & Bagbassa. 270 locals enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive and pledged to keep their locality clean & green.

The efforts of Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by all.
