AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): As in postal ballot BJP’s Badharghat candidate Mimi Majumder got only 27 votes out of more than 400 votes in the latest held Badharghat by-election, Congress asked BJP Govt to step down immediately.

Tripura Congress has revealed this data before media today saying “this is the mentality of the employees about BJP Govt”.

Congress leader Subal Bhowmik said that the Govt must resign as it failed to satisfy its employees.

Subal Bhowmik also said, “Congress got 117 votes and CPI-M got more than 200 votes in postal ballots”.

Bhowmik said that last time Congress only got 505 votes (2018 Assembly election) but this time it has been increased a lot.

He also claimed that BJP’s all vote banks will be converted into Congress vote banks in coming days.

Badharghat candidate of Congress Ratan Das was also present on that occasion.
