AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): In a shocking prediction, reacting over Tripura Congress former President Pradyot Deb Barman's quitting party, State Congress leader Subal Bhowmik on Thursday while addressing media at Agartala Congress's State Headquarter said that resigned Tripura Congress President Pradyot Manikya’s fate may be in the saffron team next that is the BJP. He said, BJP is staying sympathized with Pradyot Deb Barman as alternative of its political ally IPFT. Subal Bhowmik said, “Everyone can see the actual reason of Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman’s resignation. This will be clear more in coming days and all will see that. Pradyot Kishpre Debbarman’s accompanies are those people who are completely separated from the main-stream and those who do not have any alternative to do. But question is Bijoy Hrankhwal, Jagadish Debbarma like leaders (Regional Party INPT leaders) who are actual accompany of Pradyot Deb Barman will get all indigenous supporters including IPFT supporters and other nationalist party supporters ? Definitely BJP now needs an alternative of IPFT".

"The alliance of BJP and IPFT is in worst stage and there is no doubt about that. This alliance will collapse soon, which will be attempted to be filled up by this new leader (Pradyot Deb Barman)”. 

"We have huge respect for Pradyot Deb Barman and his family and their contributions, but politically this is actually going to happen", said Bhowmik. 

“It will be wrong to think Congress will lose all supports with Pradyot Deb Barman's resignation. There will be a big rally  by Congress soon and Congress will prove that the jana-jati people are with the national Congress, not just with a person”, said Subal Bhowmik.

“Our question is, if a regional party is formed newly, will other regional parties will join that new regional party ? Will IPFT join them ?”, asked Subal Bhowmik. 

“Will Bijoy Hrankhol will go to NC Debbarma’s home ? There is no guarantee about it. Another regional party will only break the unity of indigenous people further”, said Bhowmik.

“The relation between BJP and IPFT is in Critical stage. Thus, as an alternative of IPFT, BJP is backing  Pradyot Manikya’s and wishing to have his hand for jana-jati support in the Elections", Bhowmik told media. 

Tripura Pradesh Congress President Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barman has resigned from the party post on Tuesday (Sep 24, 2019) over differences with the party high command about NRC issue.
